Asthma & COPD

We offer annual Asthma and COPD clinics run by our nursing team. We also have a stop smoking clinic.

We encourage all our patients to take control of their lung health by attending their reviews every year. It is best to book an appointment with our Asthma Nurse Specialist to review your asthma.

An alternative is to complete this form and return the form to reception at your surgery. A clinician will contact you if we need to discuss your asthma further. Thank you.

You may be asked to book for lung function testing prior to your COPD review. The nursing team will guide you on this. It is helpful if you can bring your inhalers and spacers along.

How to use your inhaler

When it comes to using your inhalers, reading an instruction sheet just doesn't cut it. They can be complicated. You want to be shown.

There are so many different devices available now it can be hard to get the hang of the new device that your Asthma / COPD nurse has prescribed. We do try to show you in clinic. But should you forget - or just want a quick recap - we have accessed a collection of videos for you to use. They cover all the different inhaler types.
