Saturday Morning Surgery

In an effort to improve access to patients who struggle to get in during the week, we hold a regular Saturday morning surgery at Bradgate Surgery from 9.00am - 1.00pm. This surgery is for routine, pre-booked appointments only. We have only one consulting GP and nurse on a Saturday. You are free to book into these slots in the same way as a normal surgery.

Unfortunately we cannot see walk ins on the day. If you need urgent care on a weekend and do not have a pre-booked appointment, you will need to call the 111 service to access a GP.

Our Saturday surgery is very popular and is usually fully booked by the morning of the surgery. There is only ever one GP consulting and there is no capacity for extra appointments. Please do not be offended, however you will be turned away and re-directed to 111 if you arrive with no pre-booked appointment.

When we're closed

NHS 111

You can call NHS 111 by dialling 111 for advice and treatment when we are closed.

Local Pharmacist

Your local pharmacist is also able to give you medical advice and over-the-counter medicines for minor treatments. You don't need to book an appointment. Find your local pharmacist on the Find a pharmacy page on the NHS website.

Accidents & Emergencies (A&E)

If you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, you should go to your nearest A&E department or call 999
